SIS (Student Information System) is a new-model web system for the students of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
Students can log onto the platform and register for courses, keep track of their class schedules, view their scores, and acquire other information related to their studies.

What was the task
Seeing as Skoltech already had a web platform running on an outdated service, our objective was to create a custom alternative, a task that required detailed analytics to implement.
Solution
We worked with Skoltech in three different areas:
- developing a platform for university students;
- creating an interactive university application form for applicants to submit documents remotely;
- providing technical support for this form, including the purchase of a cloud storage where the university is able to store applicant data for the admission committee.
We engaged in full-stack development: we created the system backend in React and PHP, and used the Symfony framework to develop the web version.
The final version, tested by the university staff and featuring an automatically assembled admin panel, offers students user-friendly access to a variety of features on their student accounts, including course details, schedules, personal information, academic supervisors, semester information, and grades. One of its main functions is the ability to register for available courses.
