BoogelWoogel
About product
BoogelWoogel is a high-mountain festival held annually in Sochi, at Rosa Khutor ski resort.
We developed an application so that during the festival participants would be aware of the latest news and upcoming events, navigate the area, and get pleasant bonuses.

Solution
Our team developed a mobile application for Android and iOS in a short time.
We have been maintaining and updating its functionality for 7 years to help users get up-to-date information on the event and participate in festival activities every spring.

An important feature of the new technology is the introduction of iBeacon by Apple. This technology allows for data transfer between wireless devices and devices that support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
With iBeacon, users can program different actions for their devices to play when they recognize a signal. These actions depend on the received identifier and the distance between the smartphone and the tag.
BoogelWoogel partners have installed such beacons, focusing on the festival map. When the participants walked around the territory, the application picked up the tag and the set mechanics were triggered — the user received push notifications with custom offers from partners, opened games and much more.
This is how we helped to involve the festival audience in partnership activities and ensure interactive interaction with them.
